Yourtown is proud to have been the first electronic community to conduct
live exit polling on the Internet. Our representatives were positioned
at the exit of the Franklin Township polls with a laptop computer, connected
to our server through a modem. They gave the citizens of
Somerset County the unique opportunity to tell the world how they had just
voted, by using a Web-based form to register the same information they had just
entered into the voting machine.
