Popcorn review-Meet Wally Sparks, by G. Roberts

RATED R
NUDITY, LANGUAGE, INSANITY
Hang on to your seats Rodney Dangerfield fans! This slap-stick, in your face comedy, should
give you a boost from the breaks in between the Jim Carey flicks. The movie starts out with Walley
Sparks, played of coarse, by Rodney Dangerfield, as a wild and crude TV talk show host. Not even the
other crazy talk show host on the other networks can stand him! This movie goes as far as to the use
of our real day time host on the networks which really adds to this comedy. There are special guest
appearances by stars like Jerry Sienfeld, Michael Bolton, and Jim Henson of Talk Soup on the E
network. You name it, everyone’s in this flick! Well, anyway, without giving to much of the movie away,
it centers on the downfall of Wallys’ show due to way to much graphic content and language, thus
provoking the sponcers to start retreating. Walleys’ boss, portrayed by Burt Reynolds, gives him just one
more chance to redeem himself by cleaning up his shows. Little does Walley realize he has a young fan
out there who is gonna turn his life even more upside down than it already is! This movie is filled with
non-stop laughs that will keep a grin on your face all the way to the exit doors! Go see this one,
Rodney’s not getting any younger, you know. I’m definitely giving this movie the finger up…..oops, I
means thumbs up.
