The Comic Eye

Hey, how's it going? This article will give you my opinions on various events within the world of comic books. Today's article will focus on The Marvel vs. DC crossovers.

Hulk vs. Superman:

This match is no contest. Superman is strong and powerful, but he is no match for the Hulk. Let's face it, the madder the Hulk gets, the stronger the Hulk gets. Superman would have an early lead over the Hulk, but after a few hits, the Hulk would pick up a pattern and clean up. This match would last about 5 or 6 hours, only if the Hulk was tired.

Quicksilver vs. Flash:

This is a very even match, except for a couple of very important factors; The Flash is too hot-headed, while Quicksilver thinks things through, and Quicksilver's powers are literally killing him. The Flash would hurry and use his speed and attack, while Quicksilver would use his speed and defend, only using his powers when necessary. After a while, the Flash would be the victor due to his not having to worry about the dangers of his powers. By the way, you try to block a punch coming at 200 mph.

Namor vs. Aquaman:

This match would have to go over to the DC side again. Namor may be strong, but he is too hot-headed. He would rush into a battle without thinking. That would be his major downfall. Aquaman can control all the sea animals, so that means he could just sit back and let the sharks fight Namor. That power can be a whole lot more useful than brute strength. and last but not least:

Captain America vs. Batman:

Oh man!!! You can just feel the sparks fly off this battle. They might have to fight in a deserted town or something. Captain America is an old war-horse that has proven over the years that he can trade licks with the best of 'em. The same can also be said about Batman. These two combatants would be trading blows all night long. Captain America would throw his shield, while Batman throws his batarangs. After about a day or two of fighting, the two heroes would suddenly realize that they were both good and shouldn't be fighting. They would become friends and hang out at the bars and try to pick up a couple of hookers. Captain A's would have to be wearing red, white, and blue, while Bat's would have to wear leather and carry a whip. This would be our first and only tie. Ever.

Puzzling thoughts for today:

1. When Batman wears his mask, does his hair start to point with it?

2. Would Spider-Man be able to stick to Teflon (a non- stickable surface on frying pans)?

3. What would happen if Wolverine got a hangnail?

4. Can Colossus rust?

5. Does the Incredible Hulk pee in green?

*Tune in next time. More surprises to come.
